What up guys!!. Even though there’s snow on the ground, did you have a good summer? What did you do?

We finished recording our new album “Uprising” with Fresh Kils. Shot two videos with Sharpshooter. Did a tour of Ontario with west Coast artists Young Sin, Evil Ebeneezer, and Snak The Ripper. Did a bunch of other shows as well.

Your music is straight hip hop/lyrical with a message. How did you guys keep it that way over the years and not go the other way?(Commercial)


I don’t think we did in consciously, we just did things the way we always have. I guess were stubborn and stuck in our ways. If we wanted to play with a new type of beat and challenge ourselves to do something different, some might think that were were selling out and going commercial, but at the core of it we would still be spitting the same shit.


Who have you worked with in the last month ? Producers/emcees/directors.

A bunch, Let’s see Peter Jackson, Chad Hatcher, Tamsynn Lee, Sharky.  Some young talented producers like T-Rupt, T-Wiss, J True, the list goes on and on.

Your fans of KOTD…what’s your ultimate battle ( who would you want to see battle, organik vs jin)

Definitely would like to see Bishop in an old school freestyle battle with Knameless, just for nostalgia. Out of the current group I would like to see Arcane vs. Hollohan.

Do you think the toronto maple leafs have a chance to make the play offs this year?

Oh yeah, I have no doubt about that. We have improved so much since Burke took over. I like his straight forward approach and his selection of players. We seem like a no BS team this year, just gonna get the job done and grind our way into the playoffs. nothing fancy.

If you had a chance to sign a independent deal or major label deal what would you choose and why?

A major for sure. It may be more demanding and a bigger gamble, but if you have the chance to go big you might as well take it. Industry is abit shaky right now and physical sales are dying off cause of iTunes and torrents, but people still want to go to record stores like HMV so it’s up to us the artists to work three times harder to make people wanna spend their hard earned cash.

What is next for angerville you just dropped a new video with sharpshooter? Will you be shooting more videos?


We have another Sharpshooter video already completed which features Alex Dimez. The song is called “The Statement” and it’s produced by Fresh Kils and has cuts by Uncle Fester. It is also on our new album “Uprising” which will be available at www.angerville.bancamp.com Sept 7th and in HMV and Itunes by the end of the month. We are considering a third Sharpshooter video for another track on the album but were gonna have to wait and see what happens.

What can bigmouths fans expect from angerville in the next winter months.

Expect to see Angerville doing shows with some big Headliners, Expect to see our videos on TV and hear our music on the radio. Expect a Conscious Thought Solo Album and another This Hits For Free Mixtape, and expect Fortunato to fall pass out under the christmas tree.
